Pink Tornado…

When I was a little girl my mother and I would go to gospel programs. One of her all-time favorite groups was Robert Blair and the Fantastic Violinares. Now they had a song and it was called “Pink Tornado” and he went on to talk about how the tornado gossips and spreads destruction around town. When I think of the conversation that we had this week in reference to what we speak over ourselves I’m reminded of this song. Life and death lies in the power of the tongue. You decide whether you speak ill or you speak well over yourself.
The things that you tell yourself are the very things that you will become. People can often tell you things and you believe it, but what are you telling yourself? What are you telling that person that you face every day in the mirror? What does that person you see in the mirror, who interacts with the world believe about themselves.
See it all starts with the message that you feed yourself. If you want great things to happen then you must speak good things to yourself. You must use that pink tornado to spread positive thoughts and messages to yourself. Look in the mirror and speak to the lion in you. Let those things that want to hinder you be reminded that they have no place in you. Speak over yourself when you’re unwell, and there will be healing. Speak over yourself when you are in doubt about your situation, speak that you will overcome. Speak to that doubt that you will be even better than before. Let that pink tornado put so much good into your soul, that whatever against you will know that you can’t be broken or bent.
Let that pink tornado remind you of who you are, and who’s you are, that with God you are more than enough. Let that pink tornado pump your head up and fill you up with so much confidence that when you walk down the street it is in your stride. Use your pink tornado to speak good things into this world. Things are becoming harder each passing day; you never know who may need to hear a good word from you. Speak good things into this universe and good things will surely follow. We no longer have time to use our pink tornado to tear each other down and rip each other apart. It is time to build one another up encourage one another, but before you can put life into someone else you MUST speak life into you.
Remember every day that you awake you have two constants a chance and a choice, why not take a chance and choose you.
